Data set is statewide for state and local offices. No licensing information is provided.

Some metadata is available in the Lobbyist FAQ at https://www.mec.mo.gov/WebDocs/PDF/Lobbyist/LobbyistFAQs.pdf In particular, lobbyist expense reports are published on the first day of the following month. So the April 2014 reports would be published on June 1, 2014. Must search by year and specific public official. Cannot access all activity for a political subdivision at once. Results are displayed in HTML only with no API available and additional clicks required to view detail. Data would have to be copy-pasted from html; scrapping would be difficult due to use of javascript postbacks. Data includes lobbyist, principal, date of expenditure and description of expenditure. Descriptions range greatly in detail. Reports of individual lobbyists are accessed separately at https://www.mec.mo.gov/EthicsWeb/Lobbying/Lob_SearchLobDisplay.aspx
