Open Budget BR contains detailed budget data for the 2015 budget period for the City of Baton Rouge, Parish of East Baton Rouge. The annual City-Parish operating budget portion of Open Budget BR allows users to drill down into various categories such as department-level budgets, service-specific budget information and aggregate wage and salary information. These are costs that the City-Parish incurs to run the city on a day-to-day basis – from police, fire, EMS and public safety expenses to those that power key City-Parish services and programs. The City-Parish capital budget – featuring appropriations for capital improvements approved over the past twenty years – includes one-time expenses and programs like our Green Light Plan for street, road and beautification improvements and the sewer improvement projects included in our parish-wide Sanitary Sewer Overflow Program, all of which are dedicated investments in the infrastructure of Baton Rouge.
